liner notes by Dutch label representatives in the booklet thoroughly explain the birth of this compilation: at that time copyright situation with Chuck Schuldiner bands' and releasing perspective was uncertain, so they decided to take an initiative unilaterally: four rehearsal cuts by Control Denied circa 2000-2001 are still unreleased elsewhere - infamous musician jams together with a drummer Richard Christy in there, while legendary Death 'Infernal Death' demo [1985] was recorded with Kam Lee [drums/vocals], and 'Mutilation' demo [1986] - with Chris Reifert [drums]
