One of the better albums in their discography, Chemist (their 13th album) is also an excellent introduction to the minimalistic sound-sculpting of this Australian trio, somewhere between 70's Miles and Brian Eno or a more organic Steve Reich, with Chris Abrahams on el piano and drummer Tony Buck having also implanted some guitar parts. The album won the Australian grammy of best jazz record in 2006 and evolves like the soundtrack of an imaginary road movie.
